Are you looking for a fun and challenging summer employment experience?
The City of St. John's requires qualified recreation program staff, lifeguards and tourism staff to ensure that our daycamps, activity centres and outdoor pools are effectively run.
We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic individuals with a combination of work/volunteer experience and education. We welcome applications from a wide variety of post-secondary education fields as well as high school students.
Successful applicants will receive hands-on and practical training in a fun team-based learning environment, including:
- High Five - Canada's quality standard for children's recreation and sport
- Standard First Aid & CPR
- Leadership, professional development, team dynamics and more
Applicants must create a candidate profile, upload any applicable certificates and apply online by the deadline Thursday, April 1, 2021. All applications must hold both a Certificate of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Check dated in 2021.
Applicants residing in the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Jurisdiction of St. John’s, North East Avalon, Corner Brook and Labrador West apply on-line.
