After School Programs

The After School Program offers children a fun and safe place to be active. Our programs, based on the High Five philosophy and healthy child development, is fostered through principles: Participation, Play, Mastery, Friends, A Caring Adult and FUNamental Movements. Children experience a wide range of opportunities through community involvement, cooperative and sport-based games, creative learning activities and building and exploration.
 

After School Programs

The City of St. John's After School Programs run from September to June for Kindergarden to Grade 6 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. For details review the ASP information package registration began April 9, 2020 and is available on RECconnect.

After School Programs are offered at Community Centres:

  • Paul Reynolds Community Centre Discovery* (Gr. K-3) servicing elementary schools Mary Queen of Peace, Roncalli and Macdonald Drive
  • Paul Reynolds Community Centre Explore* (Gr. 4-6) servicing elementary schools Mary Queen of Peace, Roncalli and Macdonald Drive
  • Kilbride Lions Community Centre servicing Hazelwood Elementary
  • Shea Heights Community Centre please call 576-1023 for details

*Note: Paul Reynolds Community Centre After School Programs requires separate registration for Discovery and Explore.
