Know When the 24-HR Parking Restriction is On

snow covered cars parked alongside a snow plowed road. Green bar along the bottom with text in white: NEW: 24-Hour Parking Restriction

updated to add:
The 24-Hour Parking Restriction will be in effect OUTSIDE the Downtown and Business District starting 6 p.m., Thursday, Jan 21.
On-street parking outside downtown is prohibited 24-hours a day until the restriction is lifted. Vehicles parked on the road during this time may be ticketed or towed.

original message:

A new parking restriction for areas outside the Downtown and Business District will be declared as operationally required. The goal of the 24-Hour Parking Restriction is to remove vehicles from on-street parking to enhance the efficiency of snow clearing operations.

Once declared by the Deputy City Manager of Public Works, the restriction will be in place for 24-hours a day until it is lifted. Advisories will be published on the City website, and emailed to subscribers, to inform of when the 24-Hour Parking Restriction will be in place and again of when it will be lifted.
