I am proud to represent the people of Ward 4 on St. John's City Council. I live in Ward 4 with my wife Stephanie, our kid Simon, and our dog, Desmond.
In the past five years on City Council I have played a variety of roles including as Lead for Public Works and Sustainability, Lead for Planning, Lead for Transportation and Regulatory Services, Chair and member of the St. John's Transportation Commission, Member of the St. John's Urban Indigenous Coalition, Liaison to the Environment and Sustainability Experts Panel, Liaison to the Sustainable and Active Mobility Advisory Committee and Board Director on the Eastern Regional Services Board.
In addition to my role on Council, I am also the Business Development Manager for a local structural engineering consulting firm.
I was the Founder of the St. John's Tool Library (2017-2020), and from 2016-2018 I ran a small business, the Bite-sized Farm. I am a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland's Civil Engineering Program. In addition to being an entrepreneur I have experience serving my community as a former board member of the O'Brien Farm Foundation and served on the Board of Engineers Without Borders Canada and the Canadian affiliate of the International Association for Public Participation.
