In accordance with the provision of Section 166 (4) of the City of St. John’s Act, impounded motor vehicles held by the City of St John’s, will be sold via online auction hosted by Fitzpatrick’s Auction from 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, 2020.
Photographs of vehicles will be on the Fitzpatrick’s Auction website the day of the scheduled event.

Conditions of Sale

  • All items to be sold "As is, where is" with all faults; keys are not available, vehicles and its contents have not been inspected.
  • Payment to be made on the day of sale.
  • A $100 refundable deposit is required to obtain a bidding number.
  • A $10 vehicle lien search fee per vehicle applies to successful bidders.
  • Delivery to be taken the day of sale, all vehicles to be removed next business day after close of bidding except in the case of multi-vehicular sale where delivery can be extended up to seven days. Items cannot be shipped.
  • All purchased vehicles must be towed or carried on flatbed from the City Municipal Yard.
  • By placing a bid, a bidder acknowledges they have purchased the vehicle without physical inspection.
  • All applicable taxes apply to sales.
  • No bills of sales will be provided, receipt only.
  • Payments accepted: EMT to (password auction), with credit card by calling 722-5865 or by cash, debit/credit, or certified cheque at Fitzpatrick’s Auction office, 7 Mullaly Street, during regular business hours 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
