Due to the June Holiday on Mon. June 27, most City offices and facilities will be closed. Garbage and recycling will be collected on Monday.
Canada Day provides an opportunity for people to connect with each other and celebrate our community and country. In Newfoundland and Labrador, July 1 is also Memorial Day, a day of remembrance.
The City of St. John’s will be implementing a pedestrian-only zone in Quidi Vidi Village over weekends in the summer starting on July 1 until September 5, 2022.
