On Monday, City Council will vote on a Standing Committee Review Report which has, as one of its recommendations, a pilot project to change current standing committees to a Committee of the Whole.
Thanksgiving Day Holiday table arrangement
Due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday on Monday, Oct. 9 all City offices and facilities will be closed. There is no waste collection on Thanksgiving Day.

Fire Prevention Week is October 8 to 14, this year the theme is ‘Every Second Counts - Plan 2 Ways Out’. SJRFD will hold events throughout the week.
Yard Waste Garbage and Recycling at Curb
Leaves placed at the curb for pick up must be in paper yard waste bags beginning in October. Leaves in plastic bags will not be collected and will be left at the curbside.
