Since the last progress update to Council in August 2023, 11 Strategic Plan Initiatives have been completed, bringing the total number of completed initiatives to 133, since the launch in 2019. In addition, there are another 19 initiatives on track to being completed in 2023.

Motorists are advised that Duckworth Street from King’s Road to Holloway Street will be reduced to one lane to facilitate the ongoing construction project adjacent to the National War Memorial. Signage will be in place and traffic lights and/or flag persons will be on site. Motorists may experience delays as a result.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times for businesses in the area and business owners are encouraged to speak to the project...

Motorists are advised that Springdale Street, from Water Street to George Street West, will be closed from November 27 to December 1 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to facilitate the ongoing construction of the JAG Hotel. A traffic detour will be in place.
