We're committed to sharing timely and accurate information. The City of St. John's ensures media, residents and businesses are kept informed about issues, programs, initiatives and projects by posting media releases and public service announcements to this webpage.

• For news releases, advisories and public notices, check the news page. Please click on the title of any of the news item to read the full article. 
• There is a dedicated page for Water and Sewer Advisories and related road closures. Please click the view button next to the advisories to read the full details.  
• The City shares Downtown Snow Removal Advisories throughout the winter for streets in the downtown area. Advisories are posted by 3 p.m. on the day snow removal is scheduled. On the page, please click the view button next to the advisories to read the full details.  
• In the spring and summer, the City cleans downtown streets overnight. There is a defined schedule, which residents can look up on the Downtown Street Cleaning Schedule Lookup. There are parking restrictions in place during this specific time.
• The City Guide is our quarterly publication, mailed directly to households in St. John's, about City programs and services. Read the current and back issues here.
• Municipal Matters is a show on Rogers Community TV Channel 9 hosted by Mayor Danny Breen. Once aired, the City of St. John's posts episodes on the Municipal Matters webpage. 
• You can subscribe to the City's news and advisories via email updates to ensure you don't miss any of our releases.

The City of St. John’s is committed to maintaining a positive relationship with members of the media to assist in the communication of our programs, services, issues, initiatives, and events. 

The Communications Division is responsible for media relations, emergency communications, and issues management.
