Youth Engagement Working Group
The Youth Engagement Working Group oversees the implementation of the City’s Youth Engagement Strategy and provides advice on effective ways to engage youth in municipal matters.
The group offers input on issues important to youth, recommends engagement approaches, and identifies barriers to participation. Its work is guided by the City’s Engage! Policy and other relevant programs and tools, including the City Influencers group, while also exploring ways to better reach underrepresented youth.
At the request of Council, staff, or other City bodies, the Working Group provides youth perspectives on City strategies, policies, and programs.
