Seniors and individuals interested in seniors’ matters are invited to celebrate Seniors Day on October 5.
Join the celebration at this free event with information booths, light refreshments, prize draws and entertainment by Fergus O’Byrne and Jim Payne. The event will take place at the Paul Reynolds Community Centre from 12 to 4 p.m. No registration is required and event is first come, first served. Parking is limited. Today, September 20, the City of St. John’s, with support from Tree Canada, is celebrating the 13th anniversary of National Tree Day.
