The City of St. John’s advises that lane and leisure swims scheduled for 7 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, at the Paul Reynolds Community Centre and H.G.R. Mews Community Centre are cancelled due to expected weather conditions.
Waste collection is also cancelled on Thursday, February 19. A further update will be provided tomorrow on the updated collection schedule for both Wednesday and Thursday collection.

The City of St. John’s has released its new Heritage Strategic Plan, a long-term roadmap outlining how the City will manage, protect, and celebrate its heritage from 2026 to 2036. Council approved the plan at its February 17 meeting.

Please be advised that all City facilities, including City Hall, recreation facilities, and the Residential Drop-Off at Robin Hood Bay, will remain closed Wednesday, February 18. The Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility will remain open to commercial users only.

Please be advised that Hebron Way, from Sea Rose Ave to Major’s Path, is closed due to heavy drifting and poor visibility. This closure will remain in place until the weather subsides and crews can clear the area.
