Winter Parking Bans Announced

To safely and effectively clear snow from streets, the City of St. John’s prohibits parking on streets by area, time of day, and/or dependent on operational requirements through the following bans.

Any vehicle that violates the winter restrictions regardless of the conditions, or impedes snow clearing/removal operations, may be ticketed and/or towed.

Access Centre Closure to Facilitate Training

The City of St. John's is advising residents, businesses and partners that the Access Centre, located on the first floor of City Hall, 10 New Gower Street, will be closed tomorrow morning, Thursday, December 5, to facilitate staff training. The City of St. John’s invites residents and businesses to provide feedback and ideas to support the development of new neighbourhood plans for the University Area and Cowan Heights.
