The St. John’s Regional Fire Department (SJRFD) anticipates posting a job competition in early September 2025. Cruise Ship Volendam arrives August 2

The Volendam with 1839 passengers is scheduled to arrive in the Port of St. John’s at 8 a.m. (updated from 10 a.m.) on Saturday, August 2, and depart at 5 p.m.

Road Closure: Temporary Access Road between Glenlonan Street and Bay Bulls Road

The 2025 Canada Games Torch Relay will begin at the Orange Store at 694 Water Street and end with a community celebration in Bannerman Park. To facilitate this event, the following roads will be subject to rolling closures during the above-noted times:
