Pedestrians and bicyclists utilizing the T’Railway are advised there will be a temporary closure of the T’Railway near 275 Southside Road and Newdock on October 15, 2024. Signage and barricades will be in place. As the T’Railway pedestrian bridge near Newdock will be temporarily closed, pedestrians and bicyclists are advised to cross at Blackhead Road bridge instead.

Motorists are advised that University Avenue between Prince Phillip Drive and Paton Street will remain closed to traffic until 6:00 Monday, October 21 due to ongoing construction works associated with the University Avenue Storm Sewer Upgrades project.

7:00 a.m. Monday, October 14 to 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 15
Effective Monday, October 14, to facilitate construction, Ordnance Street will be closed to through traffic (with the exception of large commercial vehicles such as buses and tractor trailers). Traffic will be diverted down Wood Street.
Access for local residents and emergency services will be maintained. Pedestrian traffic will be maintained. Signage will be in place and flag persons will be on site.

Overnight work on Paton Street (near Elizabeth Avenue intersection) will take place from 11:00 p.m. October 10 to 7:00 a.m. October 11. This will include water shut offs and is required to install a fire hydrant. Those impacted by the water shut off have already been notified.
