Traffic Advisory - Galway Area

To facilitate filming of the TV series Saint-Pierre, the following roads in the Galway area will be closed from 6:30 to 11 p.m. on Sunday, November 2:

• Beaumont Hamel Way (from Costco to the Trans-Canada Highway)
• Danny Drive (section next to the Trans-Canada Highway only)

To access Galway, motorists must enter via Pitts Memorial Drive. Local and emergency traffic will be permitted.

Application - 853 Main Road

The City is considering a map amendment to Appendix C, Map 4 Waterways and Wetlands, to reflect changes to the status of a wetland at 853 Main Road. A recent study of the wetland at 853 Main Road found that the wetland does not meet the criteria for wetland protection. The proposed amendment to Map 4 would change the status of the wetland from "Wetland - Further Study Required" to "Wetland - Unprotected". A Municipal Plan amendment is not needed.
