The City has received reports of cloudy water from residents living in areas of the west end of St. John’s. Please be advised that the cloudiness is a result of air mixing with the water system at Bay Bulls Big Pond. The water is safe to drink and the air will dissipate within the next couple of days.

Motorists are advised that Springdale Street, between Water Street and George Street West, will be closed from Monday, January 27 to Friday, January 31, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to facilitate the ongoing construction of the JAG Hotel. A traffic detour will be in place.
