Active/Upcoming Advisories

Street Rehab List for July 21 to 26 - Check out a list of streets contractors may be working as part of the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation.
Airport Heights Drive - Traffic impacts are in effect on Airport Heights Drive near Portugal Cove Road as part of the Major’s Path and Portugal Cove Road Improvements project. Expect lane reductions, detours, and delays until fall 2025.
Freshwater Road/Kenmount Road (between Polina Road and Crosbie Road) - Starting Friday, July 18, road and sidewalk upgrades on Freshwater Road/Kenmount Road (between Polina Rd and Crosbie Rd) will result in lane shifts, daily detours, and sidewalk closures. Expect delays and consider alternate routes.
Macdonald Drive (between Toronto Street and Quebec Street) - A temporary lane reduction and sidewalk closure will be in place until August 8 on Macdonald Drive to accommodate work on the Portugal Cove Road to Logy Bay Road Shared-Use Path project. Traffic delays can be expected – please consider alternate routes. Signage and flag persons will be on site to guide traffic.
Lambe's Lane - Construction activity is ongoing in the area to complete a shared-use path and road/sidewalk upgrades as part of the Fortis Canada Games Complex project. Please note that Lambe's Lane is now a one-way street. Access is from Westerland Road only, exiting onto Elizabeth Avenue.
