Prescott Street (between Water Street and Military Road) - To facilitate exploratory work for the Prescott Street Infrastructure Project, periodic lane reductions will be in place. Flag persons will be on site. Motorists should expect delays. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
Bidgood Park - The following areas within Bidgood Park are closed to the public due to localized flooding: Power’s Road parking lot and trails adjacent to the west side of the dog park.
Airport Heights Drive and Rhodora Street - Work continues to support the multi-year Major’s Path and Portugal Cove Road Improvements project. Starting Monday, October 27, lane reductions will be in effect daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Airport Heights Drive and Rhodora Street to facilitate construction work. Work continues until fall 2025—expect slowdowns and detours. Pedestrian access remains open.
Gleneyre Street/Paul Reynolds Community Centre Parking Lot - On Monday, October 20, construction will begin on the east side of the Airport Heights to Paul Reynolds Community Centre Shared-Use Path.
Check out a list of streets contractors may be working as part of the City's annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation.
