To facilitate surface asphalt paving near the Portugal Cove Road roundabout, the following road closures will be in effect from 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, to 6 a.m. Thursday, October 8:

• Airport Heights Drive: Closed between Hall’s Road and the roundabout
• Portugal Cove Road southbound: Closed between Seminole Drive and the Trans-Canada Highway

Traffic travelling to and from the Airport Heights Drive area will be unable to enter or exit via the roundabout and will be detoured via Viscount Street.

Southbound traffic on Portugal Cove Road, heading toward the Trans-Canada Highway, will be detoured via Craig Dobbin’s Way, Airport Road, Major’s Path, Torbay Road and the Trans-Canada Highway.

Northbound traffic on Portugal Cove Road will maintain access through the roundabout and to Major’s Path.

Traffic exiting Major’s Path will only be able to turn right onto northbound Portugal Cove Road.

Detour signage will be in place. Please follow all posted signage, barricades and directions from on-site personnel.
