The Riverhead Wastewater Treatment Facility treats wastewater from St. John’s, Mount Pearl, and Paradise—serving about 135,000 residents and processing roughly 135 million litres each day.

From May to October, the City conducts hydrant flushing to remove sediment and maintain safe, high-quality drinking water across the distribution system.
