The City’s Paid Parking Management Strategy is designed to ensure public parking resources are managed in a fair, efficient, and accessible manner. Through this strategy, the City works to balance the needs of residents, businesses and visitors, support turnover in high-demand areas, and promote safe and orderly use of streets and municipal parking facilities.

Parking regulations are enforced by the City’s Parking Enforcement team. Officers are responsible for upholding applicable City By-Laws as well as relevant sections of the Provincial Highway Traffic Act. Enforcement helps maintain compliance, improve traffic flow, and ensure equitable access to parking throughout the community.
