Adopt a Pet
Animals that are impounded, of suitable temperament and not claimed by their owners within a five-day period may be offered for adoption.
Cats up for adoption are also housed at the Mad Catter Café, 124 Duckworth Street.

Adoption Process & Fees
Cats and Kittens
To apply to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the cat adoption questionnaire.
The adoption fees are $138, which include spaying/neutering, as well as the following:
- Full medical examination by our staff veterinarian
- First vaccination
- FeLV test
- Dewormed
- Flea treated
- Pet insurance
- Microchip
Dogs and Puppies
To apply to adopt a dog or puppy, please fill out the dog adoption questionnaire.
The adoption fees are $161 and include the following:
- Full medical examination by our staff veterinarian
- First vaccination
- Kennel cough vaccine
- Dewormed
- Flea treated
- Pet insurance
- Microchip
Residents of St. John's will also have to pay an extra $15 to have the animal registered
