Parks & Playgrounds

The City of St. John's has a large network of parks, playgrounds and open spaces.

Our four municipal parks are the largest in the network and are a destination for people of all ages. Municipal parks are places to be active or just relax and enjoy the outdoors. From tournaments to festivals, our municipal parks play host to regional and provincial events. Our municipal parks include:

The City also has dozens of community and neighbourhood parks, and over 130 playgrounds.

From early May to early October, we inspect all play structures and do routine maintenance including mowing grass, repairs, litter collection, trail upgrades and installing new equipment.
