ChillFest
ChillFest is an annual community-wide celebration of winter, with a variety of free activities for all ages and abilities! The festival is usually held during February.
All of our events are free, however registration may be required.

Scavenger Hunt
Come out to Bowring or Bannerman Park for a winter scavenger hunt! Find five words hidden throughout the parks to reveal the mystery phrase. Each park has a different set of words to make a different phrase. Contest opens February 12 and closes February 16 at 11:59 p.m.
Email the mystery phrase to specialevents@stjohns.ca (subject line "Scavenger Hunt") to be entered for a prize pack.
ChillFest Mitten Hunt
Stroll along Water Street and see how many ChillFest mittens you can find! Our iconic red mitten can be viewed in storefront windows - some may have multiple, some none! Contest opens February 12 and closed February 16 at 11:59 p.m.
Guess how many mittens there are along Water Street for a chance to win!
