Seniors Day is a free event held in October to celebrate the contributions that seniors make to our City. The event provides information, resources, and opportunities for recreation and socialization. Stay tuned for 2026 Event Details.

No registration is required and event is first come, first served. Parking is limited. 

There will be information booths, light refreshments, prize draws and entertainment.

Metrobus is offering Seniors Ride Free Day for anyone over the age of 65 including the GoBus and Community Bus. 

Other Celebrations

A proclamation with take place during the City Council meeting to recognize National Seniors Day and United Nations International Day of Older Persons. There will also be a flag raising at City Hall.
