Contractors may be working on the following streets from July 20 to 25 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation.

The St. John's Pride Parade, hosted by St. John's Pride, will take place on Sunday, July 19 from noon to 2 p.m. The route will begin on New Gower Street in front of City Hall, and travel east on Duckworth Street, before turning up Ordinance Street, onto Military Road, and ending in Bannerman Park.

The Oceania Vista cruise ship and the Crown Princess cruise ship, both scheduled to arrive in the Port of St. John’s today, Tuesday, July 14, at 8 a.m., have been cancelled due to weather.
The City of St. John’s advises that several online pages and tools will be temporarily unavailable on StJohns.ca on Monday, July 13 due to scheduled system maintenance.
The Oceania Vista with 1321 passengers is scheduled to arrive in the Port of St. John’s at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, and depart at 4 p.m. The Crown Princess with 3592 passengers is also scheduled to arrive at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, and depart at 5 p.m.
Experience a unique underwater musical performance during this Everyone Welcome Swim at the H.G.R. Mews Community Centre. In partnership with Sound Arts Initiatives and Sound Symposium XXII, composer Nick Bendzsa has created Intimate Aquatic: Music for the Public Pool, a 30-minute sonically and physically immersive sound art installation for public pools, which will be presented twice during each swim.
