The City has received an application from JSM Properties Inc. to rezone land at 50 Bennett Avenue from the Institutional (NST) Zone to the Apartment 1 (A1) Zone for a new Cluster Development use.

Today (June 3, 2024), the municipalities of Conception Bay South, Paradise, and St. John’s, announced the appointment of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the joint Regional Economic Development Agency.

The public sharps disposal bin located at the gravel parking lot at Quidi Vidi Lake near the bottom of East White Hills Road is temporarily out of service. An update will be provided when a new bin is reinstalled.

Contractors may be working on the following streets from June 3 to 8 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs.  Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation.
