The City of St. John’s advises that several online applications may experience intermittent outages today (December 2, 2025) between noon and 12:30 p.m. due to scheduled system maintenance.
Surveys have now been distributed to households on streets that participated in the 2025 temporary speed cushion trial, residents of these streets are being asked to provide feedback on the project.
To facilitate preparatory work for the Water Street Brick Sewer Rehabilitation Project, possible lane reductions will be in place as well as occasional loss of parking spaces Monday, December 1 to Friday, December 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
To safely and effectively clear snow from streets, the City of St. John’s prohibits parking on streets by area, time of day, and/or dependent on operational requirements through the following bans.

The Bowring Park Conservatory/Greenhouse will be closed from November 28, 2025 to January 7, 2026 to accommodate holiday lighting.
