The City of St. John’s has announced additional traffic calming measures that will be implemented on City streets.
St. George’s Day Holiday City Schedule - April 21, 2025Due to the St. George’s Day holiday on Monday, April 21, City offices will be closed with the exception of the following:
- All recreation facilities will be open.

Good Friday Holiday City Schedule - April 18, 2025Due to the Good Friday holiday on Friday, April 18, most City offices and facilities will be closed.

- Garbage and recycling collection will not occur on Friday, it will be collected on Saturday, April 19.
