Visitor Information Centre Closed - July 23The Visitor Information Centre, located at 348 Water Street, is closed due to a maintenance issue. It will reopen to the public during regular hours on Wednesday, July 24.

Road Update - Freshwater Road (July 21)Motorists are advised that Freshwater Road between Elizabeth Avenue and Stamps Lane has reopened to the public and water has been restored as of 4:50 p.m.
Road Closure - Freshwater Road between Elizabeth Avenue and Stamps LaneDue to a major water main break, Freshwater Road between Elizabeth Avenue and Stamps Lane is closed effective immediately. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and local traffic.
Fire Ban Lifted for Jurisdiction of SJRDF - July 20The St. John’s Regional Fire Department wishes to advise all citizens that due to the provincial fire ban being lifted for the island, the fire ban has been lifted within the Region which includes the City of St.Road Closure - Dublin Road from Belfast Street to London RoadDue to emergency watermain repairs, Dublin Road from Belfast Street to London Road is closed effective immediately. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and local traffic.
Street Rehab - July 22 to 27Contractors may be working on the following streets from July 22 to 27 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation.
