What We Heard reports have been released on the development of plans for the Rennie’s River, Central and Mundy Pond neighbourhoods.

The City of St. John’s is partnering with Collective Interchange and Expertise Hub Cooperative to host Employment Pathways & Services in NL, an event designed to help people who are new to St. John’s learn more about local employment supports, career pathways, and opportunities to connect with organizations and employers.

The City of St. John’s is reminding residents that dogs are not permitted on sports facilities (sports fields, tennis and basketball courts, or other fenced recreational facilities) whether on or off leash. 

Contractors will be working on numerous streets from May 11 to October 15 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs.

To facilitate filming for a television series, Quidi Vidi Road between Forest Road and Empire Avenue will be closed on either Monday, May 11 or Tuesday, May 12 from approximately 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. (the date is weather dependent).

The City will be opening the Residential Re-Leaf program on Monday, May 11 at 9 a.m., where St. John’s residents can apply for a $250 voucher towards the purchase of a tree to plant on their property.

The City of St. John’s reminds all residents to take proper precautions and follow City regulations when installing and using pools and hot tubs.

A Discretionary Use application has been submitted for 285 Southern Shore Highway.

A change of Non-Conforming Use application has been submitted by Metro Hardwood Incorporated for 94 Hamlyn Road.
