Watermain Lining Work in Churchill Square Area
Watermain rehabilitation work that began in summer 2022 in the Churchill Square area is scheduled to resume on April 24, and will be completed by August 2023.
This project involves cleaning and structural lining of the existing watermains.

Good Friday Holiday City ScheduleDue to the Good Friday holiday on Friday, April 7 all City offices and facilities will be closed.
Garbage and recycling collection will not occur on Friday, it will be collected on Saturday, April 8.
Text Amendment: Health and Wellness CentreDescription
The City is considering a text amendment to the St. John’s Development Regulations that would add Health and Wellness Centre as a Permitted Use in the Commercial Kenmount (CK), Commercial Mixed Use (CM), Commercial Office (CO) and Commercial Office Hotel (COH) Zones.

The Home Occupation is for a family home childcare, which will be owner operated and accommodate up to seven children.
Gleneyre Street Culvert ReplacementConstruction work to replace an aging culvert near the intersection of Gleneyre Street and Torbay Road will begin on Monday, April 10, and is expected to be complete by the end of September 2023.
This project includes replacement of the existing culvert where Gleneyre Street crosses over the Virginia River, additional flood-proofing measures, and minor vertical realignment of a portion of Gleneyre Street near the culvert.

Road Closure - Circular RoadMotorists are advised that Circular Road will be closed, between the Molson Brewery and Fleming Street, from March 28 to June 26. This is to facilitate repairs to the Brewery.
