Regatta Day Holiday City Schedule 2024
The Royal St. John’s Regatta is set to occur on Wednesday, August 7.
Street Rehab - August 5 to 10Contractors may be working on the following streets from August 5 to 10 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation.

Road Closure - Duckworth Street Eastbound Lane (from New Gower Street to Bate's Hill)August 1 – 12:00 noon
To facilitate the set up for the George Street Festival the eastbound lane of Duckworth Street (New Gower Street to Bate’s Hill), will now be closed August 1 at 12:00 noon Signage is in place and Flag persons will be on site.
