Water Street Construction Update April 28The final phase of the Water Street infrastructure improvement project that began on March 27 is progressing on schedule, with the underground infrastructure installation nearing completion at the Waldegrave Street intersection, and underground work scheduled to begin next week at the intersection of Prescott Street and Job’s Cove.

As weather permits, crews will be working to reinstate the road surface at the Waldegrave Street intersection during the coming weeks.

Repairs Planned for Historical Cantilever Bridge in Bowring ParkThis summer, repairs are planned to rehabilitate the Cantilever Bridge in Bowring Park, with construction scheduled to begin in early May and be completed by the end of July.
The construction project involves concrete rehabilitation, graffiti removal, replacing handrailing, waterproofing and paving the bridge deck.
