Council Meeting Live Stream/Video Recording Not Available

Due to technical issues with audio equipment in Council Chambers, the Council Meeting taking place on April 9 at 10 a.m. (originally scheduled for April 8 at 3 p.m.) will not be live streamed and video will be unavailable. As always, the meeting is open to the public and members of the media who would like to attend in-person. The meeting will take place on the fourth floor of City Hall, 10 New Gower Street.

City Careers Page Scheduled Outage - April 9, 2025

The City of St. John’s will be performing maintenance to the Careers Page on our website on Wednesday, April 9, at 10 a.m. Work should take approximately one hour and may result in downtime for the site. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Leisure Pool Closure: Paul Reynolds Community Centre

Please be advised that the leisure pool and waterslides at the Paul Reynolds Community Centre will be closed for maintenance from Monday, April 14 to Sunday, April 20 and will reopen on Monday, April 21 following its regular schedule. The closure is needed to facilitate minor repairs to the leisure pool, which requires the tank to be emptied. 

During this time, the lane pool will remain open and aquatic fitness classes and lane swims will continue as scheduled, unaffected by the closure.

The St. John’s Regional Fire Department (SJRFD) anticipates posting a job competition in early September 2025.
