Lane Reduction - Torbay Road (Vicinity of Pearson Street Intersection)

12:00 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2025 to 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2025

Motorists are advised there will be a temporary lane reduction in place for curb lane of Torbay Road in the vicinity of Pearson Street intersection. This lane reduction is necessary to facilitate work of the Crosstown Shared Use Path project. Alternate pedestrian routes will be provided. Signage will be in place and flag persons will be on site. Slowdowns and delays will be experienced.

Closure Notice - Bidgood Park

Please be advised that the following areas within Bidgood Park are closed to the public due to localized flooding:

Power’s Road parking lot
Trails adjacent to the west side of the dog park

City staff are monitoring conditions and an update will be provided by 12:00 noon tomorrow.

Consumer Product Recall: Vesta Tankless Hot water Heater

The St. John’s Regional Fire Department wishes to advise all citizens of a consumer product recall from Vesta. Vesta Tankless Hot Water Heater has been recalled due to carbon monoxide poisoning hazard.

Consumers should stop using the recalled water heater immediately and contact VESTA.DS to have a certified technician install the free repair.
