The City of St. John’s is asking all residents, as well as anyone who lives or works in a building connected to the City’s water system, to voluntarily reduce their water use. Due to an extended period of low precipitation, water levels in our drinking water supply areas remain low and have not yet started to recover.
By using less water and making conservation a part of our daily routine, we can help reduce the strain on our water sources.

The City of St. John’s Visitor Information Centre at 348 Water Street will conclude regular operations for the season on Friday, October 10.

Eligible voters can cast or drop off their ballots at a Voting Centre on election day (October 8) from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you plan to register and/or vote in-person on Election Day, you must go to the centre in your ward and bring acceptable identification.
