Effective Sunday, February 22 at 7:30 a.m., all on-street parking is banned on any streets outside the downtown area until further notice. Vehicles parked on the street may be ticketed or towed.
Due to the significant snowfall earlier this week, snow clearing operations remain ongoing throughout the city. Please be advised that due to required maintenance the trail lighting around the Bowring Park duck pond will be out of service from Friday, February 20 to Sunday, February 22. An update will be provided on Monday, February 23.
Users are encouraged to plan accordingly and exercise caution if accessing the trails during low-light conditions. The City apologizes for any inconvenience caused and appreciates your understanding while the work is being completed.

The snow mostly stopped by 7 a.m. today (Feb. 19), with flurries and blowing snow continuing. Reported accumulations are approximately 56 to 74 cm, with amounts varying by elevation and areas affected by drifting.
All streets are expected to be cleared by 4 p.m. on Friday, February 20. Roads and sidewalks are completed based on priority order, and residents can check the priority rankings at StJohns.ca/ServicePriority.
