Snow clearing crews continue to work to clear streets across the City. Due to the large amount of snow, this will take more time than usual to clear all streets. Please be advised that parking in the downtown business area is impacted. To ensure there is no obstruction to traffic and snow clearing operations, please utilize off street parking if visiting the area this evening. Vehicles that impede traffic or snow clearing operations could be towed or ticketed.

The Area 5 (Friday) waste collection that was rescheduled to Sunday will now take place Monday, March 11 along with Area 1 (Monday) regular waste collection.
Do not place bags or carts at the curb until between 6 and 8 a.m. Monday morning, as they could interfere with snow clearing operations.
Residents may experience delays due to the double collection day.

Please be advised that City facilities will remain closed for the remainder of the day (March 9). This includes recreation facilities and the residential drop off at Robin Hood Bay.

Due to the forecasted weather and related cleanup, City recreation facilities and the Robin Hood Bay Residential Drop Off will be closed tomorrow morning, Saturday, March 9, with an update at 11 a.m.
Waste and recycling for area 5 which was cancelled today will be collected on Sunday, March 10.
