Good Friday Holiday City Schedule - April 18, 2025

Due to the Good Friday holiday on Friday, April 18, most City offices and facilities will be closed.

Please note:

• Garbage and recycling collection will not occur on Friday, it will be collected on Saturday, April 19.
• All City parking by-laws are still in effect, however paid parking will not be enforced as Friday is a Shops Closing Holiday.
• Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility will be closed to residential and commercial users.

What We Heard: Future of the Downtown Pedestrian Mall

The City of St. John’s has released a What We Heard report summarizing findings from engagement with both visitors and non-visitors, as well as the downtown business community.
