The City has received an application for a Cidery at 70 Power's Road. To enable this development, Council is considering an amendment to the Development Regulations to add a new definition of Cidery/Winery, and to add Cidery/Winery as a Discretionary Use in the Agriculture (AG) Zone. A Municipal Plan amendment is not required.

Motorists are advised that some traffic lights may be experiencing snow coverage on signal lenses, which can reduce visibility at intersections.

The snow mostly stopped by 4 a.m. with reported accumulations of approximately 46-48 cm. All streets are expected to be cleared by noon on Wednesday, February 4. Roads and sidewalks are completed based on priority order, and residents can check the priority rankings at StJohns.ca/ServicePriority.
