The City of St. John’s would like to inform visitors to the Mundy Pond area that the resident mute swan, Harry, has been permanently relocated to Hope for Wildlife, a wildlife rehabilitation and education centre in Nova Scotia.

The St. John’s Regional Fire Department wishes to advise all citizens of a consumer product recall from Frigidaire. Frigidaire Gas Ranges have been recalled due to burn hazard.
Consumers should immediately stop using the ovens in the recalled ranges and contact Electrolux Group for a free repair. Consumers can continue to use the cooktop burners

To facilitate work for the Water Street Rehabilitation Project, a detour will be in place on Water Street from Waldegrave Street to Bishop’s Cove. There will be no on-street parking, however, access to parking lots will be maintained. Emergency access and bus routes will be maintained. Flag persons will be on site.
