Washrooms Closed at Quidi Vidi Boathouse

Due to required maintenance, the washrooms located at the Quidi Vidi Boathouse, 10 Clancey Drive will be closed effective Thursday, November 21, 2024 for a period of one week. Public washrooms will be available at the visitor’s service building on The Boulevard adjacent to the skate park during this time. We’ll advise once boathouse washrooms have reopened. The City apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Parking Restrictions & Road Closures - Downtown Christmas Parade

The 2024 Downtown Christmas Parade, organized by Downtown St. John's, is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 24 beginning at 12 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the parade will be rescheduled to Sunday, December 1.

Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation. The City of St. John's announced today the completion of a new Year of the Arts Mural on Harvey Road by artist Jerry Evans.
