The City is considering a map amendment to Appendix C, Map 4 "Wetlands and Waterways" of the Envision St. John's Development Regulations. This amendment is prompted by a recent study of the Southlands SL1 wetland that identified additional wetland area that meets the criteria for wetland protection. The City of St. John’s is inviting local event organizers to submit proposals to host Markets on Water as part of the 2025 Downtown Pedestrian Mall. Organizers will be provided free use of designated space on Water Street to host vendor markets between July 7 and September 1.
