Donnie Earle, elected to Ward 5 in 2025, is a dedicated city councillor with a deep commitment to the community he calls home. As a long-time family business owner, he understands the economic needs of the city and aims to promote sustainable growth and stability.
Born and raised in the Goulds, Donnie brings a profound understanding of the community’s history and values. He has been recognized for his volunteer work receiving the Newfoundland and Labrador Confederation 75th Anniversary Medal in recognition of enriching contributions to the province as well as the King Charles Coronation medal for years of community dedication. He is a passionate community advocate, actively promoting youth development through volunteer work. He has served as U14 and U16 youth softball coach, 20 years a member of the Goulds recreation committee and president of the St John’s West Slow Pitch League.
As your city Council member, his mission is to relentlessly prioritize the safety of our streets and ensure the security and peace of mind of every resident. The hope is to achieve this through proactive policy, strategic investment in public safety resources and robust community partnership. With his family recently expanding to include a second grandchild, Donnie’s commitment to building a bright future for the next generation is stronger than ever.
