Continuous Improvements
We’re always looking for ways to do things better.
Continuous improvement is about taking a close look at how we deliver services, finding what isn’t working well, and making changes so things are simpler, faster, and more efficient.
At the City of St. John’s, this work helps us use resources wisely and deliver better value for residents.
Since 2017, we’ve been building a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. This means training staff, improving processes, and tracking results so we can keep making steady progress over time.

Projects
Continuous improvement projects focus on improving specific services or processes.
We look for opportunities where changes could save time, reduce costs, or make things easier for residents. Projects are chosen based on where they can have the biggest impact.
Each project brings together staff from different departments to look at a process, find what’s causing delays or issues, and make improvements.
