Audit Standing Committee
The Audit Standing Committee is a Council-appointed body that reports directly to Council on:
- Financial reporting
- Internal control systems
- Risk management
- Legal and regulatory compliance
- External audit processes
- Internal audit functions

Membership
The Audit Standing Committee is chaired by a member of the public and consists of a minimum of five individuals representing the following groups:
- Two residents serving as public members (one of whom acts as Chair)
- At least three members of Council
