Built Heritage Experts Panel
The Built Heritage Experts Panel provides independent advice on the protection, designation, and management of built heritage in the City of St. John’s. The Panel reviews applications and proposals referred by staff and makes recommendations to Council. Its work includes:
- Advising on heritage policies, by-laws, strategies, and programs
- Recommending heritage designations
- Reviewing applications and heritage-related matters
- Identifying properties or areas for designation
- Promoting best practices in heritage conservation
