Resident Satisfaction Survey
The City conducts a resident satisfaction survey every two years. This is a key component of our accountability framework. The survey:
- Provides input into the City's strategic planning and budget processes
- Identifies and confirms strategic priorities
- Identifies priority issues, programs and services
- Gauges citizen awareness, perception of and satisfaction with City programs and services
- Identifies gaps or opportunities in services
- Provides data for the City's ongoing organizational performance management and continuous improvement efforts
Resident surveys are used by municipalities across the country to better understand resident views about the delivery of public service, their expectations, and what they see as priorities.
