Council

There are many ways for citizens to connect with City Council.

St. John’s City Council conducts the business of the City through a regular public meeting, held every second Tuesday at 3 p.m., alternating with Committee of the Whole. Regular Council Meetings are live streamed via our website. Citizens are also welcome to observe meetings from the public gallery.

Our committees, working groups and panels offer opportunities for residents to have direct input into the decisions of Council. Expressions of interest for members are posted when they become available. Subscribe to "Call for Members" to be notified when there are openings.
