The City has received an application for a Cidery at 70 Power's Road. To enable this development, Council is considering an amendment to the Development Regulations to add a new definition of Cidery/Winery, and to add Cidery/Winery as a Discretionary Use in the Agriculture (AG) Zone. A Municipal Plan amendment is not required.
In addition to the proposed amendment, the City is also advertising the Discretionary Use of a Cidery at 70 Power's Road. The proposed Cidery will have a floor area of approximately 190 m² and operate Monday to Friday between 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.
