The City has received an application to rezone land at 75 Lady Anderson Street from the Residential Reduced Lot (RRL) Zone to the Residential 1 (R1) Zone. The request is to allow a parking area and outdoor play area for a daycare that is proposed for the neighbouring property at 175 Ladysmith Drive. A Municipal Plan amendment is not required.
Along with the rezoning, the City is advertising the Discretionary Use of a Parking Lot and a Child Care Centre. Parking for approximately nine (9) vehicles and an outdoor play area of approximately 200 m2 are proposed on the 75 Lady Anderson Street property, while the daycare building will be located entirely within the CN Zone on the 175 Ladysmith Drive property.
