ChillFest 2026: February 12 to 16

ChillFest, the City of St. John’s annual winter festival, is back from February 12 to 16! This free, city-wide celebration features a wide range of activities designed for all ages and abilities.

This year’s lineup includes a skating parties, snowshoeing and skiing, aquatic fitness, MegaPlay, the Freez'n Fun Run & Stroll or Roll and more! While all events are free, some require registration, so plan ahead to secure your spot.

Don’t miss the winter scavenger hunt at Bowring and Bannerman Parks! Search for five hidden words in each park and combine them to reveal a unique phrase. Each park features its own set of words and phrase to uncover. Additionally, check out the ChillFest Mitten Hunt happening on Water and Duckworth Streets.
