City Seeks Feedback on New Arts and Culture Award for Applause Awards

The St. John’s Applause Awards honour individuals, groups, and organizations who inspire and uplift our community through their exceptional efforts and achievements.

As the program continues to grow, feedback has highlighted the importance of recognizing the significant contributions made by our arts and culture community. In response, a new Arts and Culture Award category will be introduced at the 2026 Applause Awards.

The City will work closely with the Arts and Culture Advisory Committee to shape this new award, ensuring it reflects the creativity, diversity, and spirit of the people it aims to honour.

The arts community, residents, and interested parties are invited to share their feedback on the award’s development by completing our survey. The deadline to complete the survey is Sunday, September 14.
